We are proud to announce a merge with Kevin Rundell and Northeast Professional BBQ this 2016 season.

We just  concluded a marathon of 3 KCBS comps in 8 days!! 

Last Saturday we managed to qualify for the regional in the Sam's Club local contest in New Windsor, CT with a 1st place Brisket and a 9th place pork for a 10th overall finish out of 30 teams. With a few teams bowing out of the regional contest the very next weekend, we moved on to the next round the very next weekend.

Immediately after awards on Saturday, we traveled the 2+ hours to Beautiful New Paltz, NY for The Hudson Valley Ribfest contest. With a 2nd Place Ribs and 6th Place Pork we took a 3rd overall out of 53 teams to finish the weekend.

Leaving Wednesday night, around 11pm, we drove straight down to Charleston, SC for the Sam's Regional contest featuring 30 of the top teams in the East for a chance to move on to the $150,000 final in Bentonville,AR. A short but great time was had before the contest in SC and it was on. Saturday morning when I went to make our turn in boxes, I discovered that our green leaf lettuce was totally shot and unusable. Luckily, Walmart was right next door and although they only had chopped green lettuce in a container, I made the decision and ventured forth with some Kale. Very happy with the look and time saved on using it but we only achieved an 8th place Brisket call.

No worries as we get back at it in a couple weeks for a run of New Jersey comps with Que by the Sea in Seaside Heights then Red, White and Que in Cresskill and finally, the Smoke on the Water DO ACcomp in Atlantic City, NJ.
